Monochromatic inspired by this pic. I'm using a wet-on-wet technique in an attempt to loosen up my hand and not get so caught up in the details. Lately, I've been looking for inspiration to practice painting in a more suggestive way for a change and to get outside of my comfort zone a bit.
Isn't Gwyneth Paltrow a total vision in this gorgeous blush Prada at the premiere of Contagion in 2011? (Awesome movie, btw). And of course, her Bulgari earrings are not too bad either. Simply stunning!
I was inspired by this pic of GP at the event, and, in a Valentine kind of mood, I felt like a healthy dose of pink for this portrait. Check out pics of the full dress on Popsugar.
