First off, I want to wish my mom a very happy Mother's Day!  Mommy, without you I would not BE.  Period.  I am amazed at how much you had to go through to bring me into this world, to raise me on your own with little-to-no support from dad, to battle for me my entire life, to make me your number ONE priority like a true mom, to sacrifice and give up SO MUCH to make my childhood a happy and carefree one!  Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!  Words cannot express how grateful and thankful I am to have a mom like YOU!! You amaze me and inspire me every day, and I love you sooooo much!! xoxoxo <3

Well, my mom is sure getting a custom painted card from me, that's for sure - the very least I can do :-)  And I'm happy I can share my Mother's Day cards with all of you, too, hope your moms like them!

You can find my two Mother's Day card designs at The Soap Kitchen, the cutest soap shop owned by Dali Yu.  Dali makes all the soap and lip balm by hand, from scratch, with love and care, using only natural ingredients.  She also designs all the packaging, the gift baskets and wrapping for everything in her shop!  Amazing!!  The soaps and lip balms are so good for you and they look super pretty, they make the best gifts either on their own or as part of a gift basket.  Not sure what to give your mom for Mother's Day this year?  Pick up a quick and cute pre-packaged or custom gift basket with yummy bath goodies and one of my Mother's Day cards to go with it, and you're all set.  Easy peasy.  Plus: mom will love you that much more for the bath goodies and thoughtful gift! <3

The card above was inspired by all the wishful thinking I know moms go through during those tough days of raising us: dreaming of traveling to romantic and beautiful places like Paris, having a great reason (and time!) to get all dressed up, do their hair and make up, take a breath and enjoy the view ... or simply just have time to take a shower!  Even if those dreams of elegance and travel are put on hold for now, a luxurious bath experience with all-natural olive oil soap or shea butter soap and bath salts from The Soap Kitchen is easily within reach!  Make mom happy this Mother's Day with a beautiful self-care gift!

With Mother’s Day coming up on May 13 this year, I was inspired by moms and all they do for us.  My FREE CALENDAR for May, Glam Girl, is dedicated to all the moms out there, including my own :-) If you’re a mom, I hope you get to spend the day with your kids and loved ones and you take some time for yourself to recharge.

And if you’re not a mom yourself, like me, enjoy the day and celebrate your mom, or simply use the day as an excuse to stop and take a deep breath.

Better yet, make the month of May an entire month of self-care: read your fave books or magazines, take relaxing bubble baths, go on nice walks and listen to a book or podcast, or just get dressed up for no reason at all except simply to celebrate your life and a fresh spring season.
