Amy Schumer is one of the funniest actors today! She is so natural and effortless in front of the camera, and her delivery is spot on. I mean, Trainwreck anyone?? Hysterical! Congrats on the Golden Globe nomination! And the lady is as smart as she is funny: she wrote the movie, too! Double awesome! Amy looked like a modern day princess in a Prabal Gurung gown with the classic black and white combo and off the shoulders cut. The white front narrowed down to give Amy the tiniest waist with such flattering lines, and let’s not forget the pockets, my fave modern feature in a gown. Those pockets put such a refreshing spin on a classic voluminous skirt! It’s easy to see why I was so inspired to illustrate this look. It didn't hurt that this beautiful full gown allowed me to play with layers upon layers of shades of black, which I love mixing from various colors like blues, sepias and reds, until I get the shade of black to match what I'm looking for. I am in love with wet watercolor, I wish it would never dry! These textures remind me of wet asphalt on a rainy day. It's so much fun and so relaxing to watch watercolors flow freely ... Amy looked so beautiful on the red carpet in this flowing gown! And still funny as ever: check out this video of Amy and Jennifer Lawrence presenting at the Globes, hilarious!
